Personally, if you asked me to pray, I wouldn’t because all my life, everything I prayed for never came true. Maybe it was the essence of the prayers; it was always about things that could only benefit me. Thus without my prayers being fulfilled all this while, I lost hope. I thought maybe prayers don’t work at all – my expectation of the results were obviously too high.

Anyways, life dragged on till I hit a crossroad in my life.. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. It seemed so tedious, so mundane; life was a bore to me. I had no direction, I couldn’t make decisions, and there was no clarity in my mind at all.

I contemplated and just could not pick between the choices I had. So one day a friend introduced me to the mantra of Dorje Shugden and said:

Pray hard to him, he will help you. You ask your questions before you start the prayer then you do it with your utmost sincerity. Concentrate on your question, and focus on what you want. He will help you”.

What harm could it do, since I had no other better options, I salvaged on whatever there is. Better to do something than nothing. So that night, I recited the mantra of Dorje Shugden for the very first time and asked for help to have a clearer mind so that I can make a decision.

I made a choice – the choice I made has led me to having the most fulfilling life I could only have dreamt of but I am living it right now. The prayers could have been psychological, I do not know, but whatever it is, I strongly feel that by doing the mantra of Dorje Shugden, clarity definitely came and it has played a role in where I am today; it has led to my happiness.

There are many other occasions which I believe my prayers to Dorje Shugden has pulled me through, from finances to overcoming myself and helping my family. Place your sincere trust in Dorje Shugden – he has not failed me, he is always listening and protecting me, guiding me on with my life.
