Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang was His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's philosophical assistant and personal tutor for fifty years. He received the lineages of Tagpu Dorje Chang and was responsible for keeping the teachings of Pabongka Rinpoche and especially Dorje Shugden alive.
